Joel Myers Tennis, operated in connection with Coronado Tennis Center (“we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through joelmyerstennis.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you. It is written to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and applicable California privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Contact details you submit through inquiry, coaching application, or booking forms — such as name, email address, phone number, and any message content.
• Scheduling information when you book a session through our online availability calendar.
• Video and match footage you upload or send for stroke, match, or strategy analysis services, along with any notes you provide about that footage.
• Payment and billing information submitted when purchasing coaching packages or video analysis services through our online store. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.

Information collected automatically

• Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and pages visited, collected through server logs and cookies.
• Analytics data about how visitors use the Site, which we use in aggregate to understand traffic and improve content.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to inquiries, schedule lessons, and deliver coaching or video/match analysis services you request.
• To process payments and manage your orders.
• To send service-related communications, such as booking confirmations and analysis results.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell your personal information.

Do Not Track: Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, the Site does not currently respond differently to browsers with Do Not Track enabled.

4. Video and Media Submissions

Video or match footage submitted for analysis services is used solely to provide the requested coaching feedback. It is not shared publicly or with third parties without your consent, and is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to deliver the service and respond to related follow-up questions, after which it may be deleted.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site, process payments, host our booking calendar, or provide analytics — solely to perform those functions on our behalf.
• Legal or regulatory authorities where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Joel Myers Tennis, our clients, or others.
• A successor entity in the event of a business transition such as a sale or merger.

6. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, request deletion of your personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not currently sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for parents, guardians, and adult players. For junior coaching, junior lessons, and summer camp programs, all registration and personal information is submitted by a parent or legal guardian, not collected directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information directly, please contact us so we can address it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
